HanaHana (花華), Spatial Art Game, 2018

HanaHana (花華) – Experimental VR art piece by Mélodie Mousset (2017).
In this surreal sandbox, players embody a cloud of molecules, able to teleport and “grow” hands and branching structures across uncanny landscapes. Inspired by manga and the subconscious, HanaHana blends body, creativity, and VR into a haunting and poetic experience—once recognized by The Guardian as one of Gamescom’s most distinctive indie works. Versions of the project have toured globally across galleries and exhibitions.

Since 2017, the work has appeared in over 70 exhibitions and festivals worldwide, including Gamescom, where it was named one of "the nine most weird, wonderful and odd games of the year" by The Guardian
